    Fred,
Holy Mighty God in Heaven worship blew my mind today. My pastor totally brought a God-Sized dream, when she was talking you could hear a pin-drop.

    Jay cracks me up.

I say "steal away!" If it's a great idea use it! I did an entire set music this morning written by someone else and it was pretty powerful.

I hope you feel better soon man.

Sure, we stole the cardboard confessional idea, but, as our bassist Gary Share said, it means so much more when it's our people confessing. Good Sunday indeed.

Did you video the cardboard testimonies? I saw it where another church did this and wow.....

Sunday was wonderful for us today too, for the most part. :)

When I saw David pick up his cardboard I was in shock. Wow how awesome and amazing and emotional this morning was. Regardless of a stolen idea the spirit of God was moving and people's souls were touched. I saw someone cry I have never seen cry, one lady said it was amazing and she was blessed, and one lady said she was touched and did not know how she was going to go grocery shopping after that :) It was real, vulnerable, and beautiful all at the same time. Yes, clearly I could go on and on. When you get a glimpse of the glory of God like that how can you not?

We tried out a 9-piece band this week, including some new members. We used violin, clarinet, cello, and then some of the more usual suspects.

Hey Fred, I left a comment a little while ago on your "Myself?" entry, but I just saw your video confessional. I was reminded of something I was told years ago, that mixes with something we all know as leaders. Any way, John the Baptist said "I must increase and He must decrease." Thusly, when there is less of me, there is more of Him, then it follows that when there is none of me there is ALL of Him. Remember how Paul said that Jesus is strong in our weakness? God has incredible room to move when WE are not "there". Just some encouragement that hopefully is encouraging and not just droning on and on and on... sorry. I appreciate your ministry. Thank you for your servanthood!

I forgot to post Sunday afternoon's set list:

    Oh Praise Him- Crowder
Praise You In This Storm- Casting Crowns
Battle Belongs to the Lord- No Idea
    Heart of Worship- Matt Redman
    Offering- Paul Baloche

We try to keep it pretty tame on Sunday evenings. Starting September we go to Saturday nights and the Sunday evening service goes away. Be praying for us.
